In order to raise money for a local charity, a committee decided to hold a concert. Many local acts, as well as some big name acts agreed to play at the concert, and even donated some of their own money. We wanted as many people as possible to be able to come to the concert, so we looked for a party bus rental in Toronto to shuttle guests to and from the concert. WE could have just used a normal bus, or maybe even a fleet of cabs, but we wanted to get people hyped up going into the concert.
When planning the concert, we planned for every possible scenario of events. The concert was an open air concert, so we had to take precautions for rain. We chose a day in the middle of the summer when the chances of rain weren’t as likely. We monitored the weather for the week of the concert just in case any storms were making their way to our area. We even received donations of small umbrellas and raincoats from a local store that we could pass out to the guests if they didn’t bring their own.
I was nervous on the day of the concert, because I wasn’t sure how it would go. We prepared for everything, and the performers were there on time to do sound checks, so everything was ready to go. The guests were coming in from the buses and they were ready to see some live performances. Once the show started, all of my nervousness went away. The performers really rocked the crowd and they were loving every minute of it. We raised a lot of money from the concert, and the charity was pleased to see that so many people were willing to open their hearts and their wallets.
